Terms of Service

1. The service

CutScore (cutscore.app) provides original practice questions, adaptive study tools, and exam-readiness estimates for security certification exams. Readiness estimates are statistical estimates based on your practice performance — they are not predictions, guarantees, or promises of any exam outcome.

2. Accounts and subscriptions

You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. Access to one exam track is sold as a recurring subscription (weekly, 3-month, or yearly), billed in advance and renewing automatically until cancelled. You may start with a 3-day free trial that requires no payment method; access ends when the trial expires unless you subscribe. Cancel anytime from your account — you keep access through the period already paid for; entry-level plans start at $5.99/week. Accounts are personal: sharing an account, reselling access, or purchasing on behalf of multiple users without written agreement is prohibited. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Content ownership and anti-redistribution

All questions, explanations, and other content are original works owned by CutScore. You may not copy, scrape, screenshot-compile, publish, share, sell, or otherwise redistribute question content, in whole or in part, including to other study platforms, forums, or file-sharing services. Automated access (bots, scrapers, bulk downloading) is prohibited. Violations terminate access without refund and may result in legal action.

4. Acceptable use

Rate limits and daily serving caps protect the service and its content. Attempting to circumvent them, probing the API for answer data, or interfering with the service is prohibited.

5. Cancellation

Cancel anytime from your account; access continues to the end of the paid period and does not renew afterward. The 3-day free trial lets you evaluate the full product at no cost, so charges already made are non-refundable. See the Cancellation Policy.

6. Disclaimers

The service is provided as-is without warranties. CutScore is not liable for exam outcomes, missed certifications, or indirect damages. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated; material changes will be noted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
